By installing and using Instagram Follower Analyzer Lite ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Instagram Follower Analyzer Lite is a Chrome browser extension that helps you:

  • Analyze your Instagram followers and following lists
  • Identify accounts that do not follow you back
  • Manage your Instagram following list
  • Export and track analysis history

The Extension is provided FREE of charge with no limitations.

3. Eligibility

To use this Extension, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have a valid Instagram account
  • Comply with Instagram's Terms of Service
  • Use the Extension in accordance with these Terms

4. NOT Affiliated with Instagram/Meta

IMPORTANT: This Extension is an independent third-party tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to:

  • Instagram
  • Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • Facebook
  • Any of their subsidiaries or affiliates

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Compliance with Instagram's Terms

You agree to:

  • ✅ Comply with Instagram's Terms of Service at all times
  • ✅ Comply with Instagram's Community Guidelines
  • ✅ Use the Extension in a responsible and lawful manner
  • ✅ NOT use the Extension to violate Instagram's policies

5.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Instagram account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • NOT sharing your Instagram credentials with anyone

The Extension does NOT access or store your Instagram password.

5.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

  • ❌ Use the Extension to violate any laws or regulations
  • ❌ Reverse engineer or modify the Extension's code for malicious purposes
  • ❌ Attempt to circumvent Instagram's rate limits beyond the Extension's built-in protections

  • ❌ Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Extension

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

6.1 "AS IS" Basis

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do NOT warrant that:

  • The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The Extension will always be compatible with Instagram's website
  • The Extension will meet your specific requirements
  • The Extension will not cause account restrictions from Instagram

6.2 Instagram May Change

Instagram may modify its website, API, or Terms of Service at any time, which may break or limit the Extension's functionality. We are not responsible for such changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Liability for Account Issues

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • ❌ Instagram account suspensions or restrictions resulting from Extension use
  • ❌ Loss of followers or following as a result of using the Extension
  • ❌ Any damages to your Instagram account or reputation
  • ❌ Data loss due to browser issues, user actions, or technical problems

7.2 Maximum Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE EXTENSION SHALL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0), AS THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

7.3 Use at Your Own Risk

YOU USE THE EXTENSION AT YOUR OWN RISK.

While we have implemented rate limiting and other protections, we cannot guarantee that Instagram will never restrict your account for using third-party tools.

8. Rate Limiting and Anti-Ban Protections

The Extension includes built-in protections to reduce the risk of account restrictions:

  • Automatic delays between API requests
  • Rate limiting to stay within Instagram's unofficial limits
  • Exponential backoff on errors

However, these protections are NOT foolproof. Instagram may still:

  • Temporarily restrict your account
  • Require you to verify your identity
  • Block API access if they detect automation

We are NOT responsible for any such restrictions.

9. Data and Privacy

  • All data is stored locally on your device (see Privacy Policy)
  • We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your data to external servers
  • You can delete all data by uninstalling the Extension

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Extension Ownership

The Extension's source code, design, and documentation are owned by the developer (Matthieu).

10.2 Open Source

The Extension is provided under the MIT License (if applicable). You may view and modify the source code for personal use, but you may NOT:

  • Republish the Extension on Chrome Web Store or other platforms
  • Use the Extension's branding or name for derivative works
  • Remove copyright notices or attribution

10.3 Trademarks

"Instagram" and related trademarks are owned by Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not claim any ownership or affiliation.

11. Updates and Modifications

11.1 Extension Updates

We may update the Extension at any time to:

  • Fix bugs or security issues
  • Add new features
  • Improve compatibility with Instagram
  • Comply with Chrome Web Store policies

Updates are automatic if you have enabled auto-updates in Chrome.

11.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the Extension at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the Extension from Chrome
  • Disabling the Extension in Chrome settings

12.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to:

  • Discontinue the Extension at any time without notice
  • Remove the Extension from Chrome Web Store
  • Block specific users from using the Extension (if technically feasible)

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer (Matthieu) from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Extension
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of Instagram's Terms of Service
  • Any third-party claims related to your use of the Extension

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the Extension.

17. No Professional Advice

The Extension is for informational purposes only. It does NOT provide:

  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Professional consulting services

Do not rely on the Extension for critical business or personal decisions.
